Product Description

This is a very early SS trumpet banner, in the style of NSDAP but with the distinctive black and white twisted edge cord for the SS. Banner measures approx. 14″ x 16″ excluding fringe or loops. Double sided.  The red body of the flag is a heavy weight cotton with white central disc and swastika. The white cloth is almost a canvas like material. Heavy white cotton edge fringe, and bordered by a black and white twisted edge cord. 4 brass loops across the top edge. The brass has turned almost black from age. Banner shows wear and some age discoloration. No moth damage or rips however. An early SS trumpet banner in Fine+ condition.
