A fantastic Kriegsmarine U-Boat badge in solid silver. Badge is made by Wilhelm Deumer and has the distinctive Deumer style eagle. Reverse of badge is hallmarked 800 to denote silver content. The gold fire gilding is in excellent condition. This type of high grade badge was worn by ranking officers in the kriegsmarine serving U-Boat service. A beautiful badge in VERY FINE+ condition.
