SS Ash tray and match holder for SS Leibstandarte officer. Ash tray has removable center section that is a matchbox holder. Center has the LAH SS eagle. Reverse has SS Komm auch Du! {you to come, to the SS} Was most likely on the desk of a recruiting offer for the SS. Still has a period box of stick matches in the holder. Measures approx. 5 1/4″ x 4″ and 4″ tall. The match holder is hand engraved mottos on both sides. There is a very small hallmark, but all that can be read is the word Fein. The matchbox holder does have some scratches, dings and dents overall. Ashtray shows wear to the edges and bottom. Would rate at Very good++ / Fine – condition.
