Product Description

Waffen SS enlisted man visor hat. Grey wool body with golden yellow piping for cavalry units. Nice matching ss eagle and skull insignia to front. Inner lining of hat is light yellow colored silk material. Visor has some age cracking to it, but still solidly attached to the hat. Underside has the checkered pattern, and shows wear from handling.  Has large celluloid sweat diamond. Size marking stamp under the diamond. Inner leather headband is stiff, but not brittle. Inner lining has sweat staining from wear. Body of the hat has no moth damage.  Show age and some wear, but overall a very nice visor. Would rate at Fine condition overall.
